The Problem

Have you ever gone to a food court and instantly felt overwhelmed by the chaos? Crowded walkways, long lines at every stall, and an endless array of food options can make the simple act of deciding what to eat surprisingly stressful.
For some people, food courts are not just a place to grab a quick bite—they’re a sensory overload of noise, movement, and decision fatigue.
To get a better look at the problem, we decided to do research on social media to see what the people are saying.

We want diners to

1. Sit and relax
so they can skip the hassle of walking and waiting in lines.
2. Scroll digitally
so they can easily browse more options and find what they crave.
3. Dine away
so they can fully enjoy their meals quickly and efficiently.

Our Solution

In order to crate a seamless dining experience, we had to make sure that all of the problems are tackled properly. To do so, we created our design with this question in mind:
How can we improve the food court experience to ease congestion, reduce decision fatigue, and help people dine more efficiently?
OrderGo is a digital online ordering system designed to create a seamless dining experience. Choosing, ordering, and paying can all be done through a few scrolls and taps. All diners have to do is to find a seat and food is served to their table!

Impact

We tested the ordering and payment system in a food bazaar event. The flow of a bazaar is the same as one of a food court, so it's the perfect time to test our system and compare it with the manual flow of a food court.
1
Sales increased by 47.3%.
2
81.2% users find it more efficient than manual purchasing.
3
95.2% of merchants would use our system again.
